Clinical Research

Overview

Clinical ResearchLakeland Cardiology Center is currently participating in clinical research trials. Through clinical studies, doctors find new and better ways to prevent, detect, diagnose, control, and treat illnesses. Clinical research programs allow physicians to ensure new treatments are effective and safe. Patients that are eligible and enroll in any of the offered trials provide very valuable information. Participants are carefully screened prior to being enrolled in any trial. Each individual must meet detailed criteria. Once the criteria has been met the requirements are fully explained to participants in detail. All consented patients will be closely monitored by the principal investigator along with the clinical research coordinator throughout the period of the trial.
